Online professional development may help with standards transition

The adoption by all but five states of Common Core State Standards is leading to increased interest in online professional development for educators. Many states say inadequate funding and a lack of guidance is keeping them from instituting professional development on the common core, but those who are creating new resources say Internet-based programs may help address some of their concerns.
