Obama, Romney fundraising until the very end:

President Barack Obama raised $90.5 million from Oct. 1 through Oct. 17, while Republican candidate Mitt Romney brought in $111.8 million, according to campaign finance reports. While Obama has more flexibility when using campaign money in the last stretch of the election because more went directly to his campaign committee, Romney has more money in the bank. Both are expected to pass the $1 billion fundraising mark before Nov. 6.
