NASD action angers many ahead of district committee vote

Some broker-dealers are furious about a list of "assertions and facts" that the NASD has published in response to campaign claims by candidates for district committee seats. Alan Davidson, president of the Independent Broker-Dealer Association, told the SEC that the NASD has become an "embarrassing, dysfunctional, corrupt regulator" intent on preventing "fair change implemented by Membership vote."
