Health groups remain a ways off in ICD-10 preparation, report finds:

A KLAS report finds that less than 10% of health care organizations are more than halfway through their ICD-10 preparation, and many groups don't yet have a budget in place or are still in the planning stage, scenarios that could lead to reimbursement delays or revenue cycle chaos when the new code standards take effect in October 2013. Providers cited staff training and vendor readiness as among their biggest concerns about ICD-10, the report noted.
