Moorman: U.S. economy not headed into a recession in the near future

Norfolk Southern is not expecting the U.S. to slip back into a recession any time soon, according to NS CEO Wick Moorman. NS shares the same outlook on the economy with other Class I railroads, including CSX and Union Pacific. "Over the short term, we continue to see signs pointing to overall modest economic growth," Moorman said.
