Dolls get bigger, to attract attention

Marketers including Disney and MGA Entertainment are putting out dolls that are taller and designed to look like young girls instead of infants, in order to capture and prolong the interest of girls in playing. The move is designed to buck the trend of girls abandoning toys for online games and tween-based entertainment.
