Esprit: Weak European demand contributed to sales drop

Esprit Holdings, one of the largest apparel retailers in the Asia-Pacific region, said total sales in the third quarter dropped 9% as demand in Europe weakened. Europe accounts for more than four-fifths of Esprit's sales. Sales in the Asia-Pacific region surged 28.5%, the company said.
