Another study links diabetes to increased breast cancer risk

Postmenopausal women with type 2 diabetes were 35% more likely than those without diabetes to develop breast cancer, a study in the journal Cancer Causes and Control found. Nonwhite women with diabetes had a 289% increased risk for developing breast cancer, compared with those without diabetes.
