Health care heavyweights back e-health incubator

Kaiser Permanente, Mayo Clinic, Genentech and UnitedHealth and others are partners of digital health accelerator Rock Health, which named 14 companies that will receive mentoring, office space, operational assistance and potentially $100,000. The startups are developing platforms that pair patients and providers, applications that track and report health-related behaviors, and systems to automate handling of medication kits for pharmacies and hospitals, among other projects.
