U.K. firm develops silicon pad that prevents pressure ulcers

KerraPro, developed by U.K.-based Crawford Healthcare, is a silicon pad that prevents ulcers by dissipating pressure on a patient’s body, Crawford research and development director Christian Stephenson says. The pads come in various sizes and can be cleaned and reused on the same patient.
