Bloomingdale's CEO to step down after 22 years

Bloomingdale's Chairman and CEO Michael Gould will leave the company after more than two decades, the company announced Wednesday. "Michael Gould has been an outstanding and inspirational leader who has strengthened Bloomingdale's position as an upscale fashion trendsetter known and loved by customers around the globe," Macy's CEO Terry Lundgren said of Gould, whose tenure includes such highlights as beginning the shipment of styles to more than 100 countries and creating an outlet strategy for the upscale department store chain.
