Late-paying big customers cause headaches for small firms

Some otherwise healthy small companies are getting hurt by customers -- especially the big ones -- who fail to pay their bills on time. Making matters worse, banks feeling the pinch from the credit crisis are not as willing to make loans so that small businesses can cover the cash flow until the payments come in.
