Pentagon must change to recruit STEM workers, report says

The Defense Department needs to relax its security-clearance requirements to make it easier to recruit foreign workers for science, technology, engineering and math positions, according to a report from the National Academy of Engineering and the National Research Council. The Pentagon faces a shortfall of STEM workers unless it streamlines its hiring process and makes itself a more attractive employer, the report says.
