Company apologizes for under-filling propane customers' tanks

Flawed scales at Krist Oil's facility in Iron River, Mich., led to some customers receiving less fuel than they paid for, company officials say. Krist's propane-distribution business came under scrutiny after Wisconsin regulators noticed variations in the amount of fuel in the company's 17-pound propane tanks. "We apologize to anyone that may have been inconvenienced," said owner Krist Atanasoff.
