South Korea could receive F-35s, analyst says

South Korea could be on track to receive F-35s, according to defense consultant Robbin Laird. Australia and Singapore are the only nations in the Pacific region with F-35 fighters, but the U.S. has 28,000 troops in South Korea. The U.S. can counter aggression from China and North Korea from its garrison in South Korea, analysts say.
