Taking ad-skipping off the table

While ad-skipping is increasingly common among DVR users, it's not an option for online viewers of shows watching on Hulu.com, ABC.com and other sites, and networks reportedly will not distribute programming to sites that permit ad-skipping. ABC is extending the no-ad-skipping model to video-on-demand, allowing some pay-TV subscribers access to next-day replays of ABC programming -- but with ad-skipping disabled.
