Cleaning companies can bolster the appeal of their cleaning-wipe products by emphasizing their versatility and value, experts say. "The U.S. consumer will certainly attempt to economize ... but the ease and convenience of disposable household wipes has enduring appeal. Rather than revert back to sprays or rags, I would anticipate attempts to economize within the category," said Euromonitor researcher Howard Telford.
