H1N1 prompts calls for guaranteed sick leave

Many workers' and women's groups have used the H1N1 pandemic to argue the disease is spreading in part because those without sick leave can't afford to stay home when they fall ill. These groups are pushing for Congress to pass guaranteed sick leave for all workers; companies say such legislation would be unnecessary and expensive.
