Coffee and tea extracts energize functional beverages

More functional beverages are being made with coffee and tea extracts, which are seen as being energizing and high in antioxidants. "Consumers are definitely aware of the antioxidant health benefits associated with tea, but the awareness of coffee's health benefits is just beginning to grow," said an official with WILD Flavors, which launched an Antiox Blend with extracts of rooibos tea, green tea, white tea and grapeseed.
