Make prospective employees sweat, says moving-company chief

When Larry O'Toole of Massachusetts-based Gentle Giant Moving wants to hire someone, he first makes them run the 37 sections of stands at Harvard Stadium. It's no fun for the prospective employee, O'Toole admits, but it's a great way to see what they're really made of. "The stadium is great for identifying whiners," he says. "When things get tough, you have to tackle it with humor, enthusiasm, and support for one another."
