Researchers say high glycemic load isn't tied to colon cancer risk

A 10-year study of 73,000 middle-aged and older Chinese women who consumed diets high in carbohydrates found that dietary glycemic load does not affect the risk for colon cancer in women. The researchers said additional studies are needed.
