Public health group wants sodium regulation and reduction

The American Public Health Association passed a resolution calling for federal regulation and reduction of sodium in food. The goal is to reduce sodium in restaurant and processed food by 75% in 10 years through FDA regulation that would be triggered by removing or changing sodium's status as generally recognized as safe.
