Obama is ready to discuss a tax-cut extension for all incomes

U.S. President Barack Obama is ready to negotiate with Republicans on a temporary extension of tax breaks for all income levels, White House press secretary Robert Gibbs said. He said Obama still opposes making the tax cuts permanent for the wealthiest Americans. Gibbs said talks on the issue are likely to take place in the closing weeks of this year's congressional session.
