Research: Dyslexia, IQ are not linked

Dyslexia may not be related to an individual's intelligence, new research released Nov. 3 shows. The study, funded by the National Institutes of Health, suggests IQ should not be considered as students are diagnosed with dyslexia and that doing so could keep some students from receiving appropriate special-education services.
