Columbia University CP center will treat patients of all ages

Debby and Peter Weinberg donated $7 million to help create the Weinberg Family Cerebral Palsy Center at Columbia University Medical Center, a facility geared toward research and education while providing care for cerebral palsy patients of all ages. The Weinbergs' son was diagnosed with a rare form of cerebral palsy as an infant and although CUMC cared for him then, the couple found fewer care options as the boy approached adulthood.
