Over-the-top TV ad revenue expected to decline by 2017

Advertising share of over-the-top TV services' revenue is expected to decline to 51% by 2017, according to Global Information. OTT businesses, such as Hulu Plus, currently generate $6 billion in overall revenue. The report expects 480 million homes in 40 countries will be watching online television in the next five years, up from 182 million in 2010.
