Researchers disagree on how long the U.S. shale boom will last

Some researchers are raising concerns that increased oil and gas production from hydraulic fracturing could be shorter than projected by the Energy Information Administration. According to analyses presented at a Geological Society of America meeting in Denver, the flow of oil and gas from many of the wells that created America's energy boom is already falling.
