Brooklyn hospital program offers quality management education

Metropolitan Jewish Health System in Brooklyn, N.Y., has created a special educational center to train nurses and other health care professionals to fill quality management roles. Curriculum at the Metropolitan Quality Management Institute covers leadership skills, use of statistics, developing performance models, risk analysis, patient safety and regulatory issues.
