President-elect Barack Obama hopes to change NCLB

Barack Obama's election Tuesday as president of the United States will likely bring changes in K-12 education, including reform of NCLB, according to campaign promises Obama has made. Obama has said he supports recruiting more teachers, providing more federal funding for preschool and charter schools and offering more scholarships for aspiring educators.
