How will 3PLs be affected by the capacity crunch?

Nonasset-based third-party logistics service providers have done big business in recent years, but some experts think providers with physical assets will take the lead as a long-anticipated capacity shortage comes to fruition. However, John G. Larkin, an analyst at Stifel, noted that the capacity crunch has been on the horizon for years without causing a noticeable impact on the performance of nonasset-based providers.
