Server processors will be detailed at conference

Papers on Intel's new 22-nanometer Xeon "Ivytown" processor and Applied Micro Circuits' ARM-based, 64-bit X-Gene processor will be presented at the International Solid-State Circuits Conference in February. At the same conference, Samsung Electronics will demonstrate its low-power DDR4 synchronous DRAMs for smartphones and SK Hynix will disclose its High-Bandwidth Memory chip-stacking technology.
