Want to be more creative? Turn down the lights

Office workers in dimly lit cubicles are much better at solving problems creatively than are their counterparts in brightly lit workspaces, a new study reveals. "Apparently, darkness triggers a chain of interrelated processes, including a cognitive processing style, which is beneficial to creativity," the researchers write.
