Report ranks states on health, puts Vermont at top

A report released by the nonprofit United Health Foundation lists Vermont as the healthiest state in the U.S., after evaluating states on 20 measures of wellness. The report ranked Mississippi as the unhealthiest state because of its high rates of child poverty and obesity. Read the full results online.
