Chesapeake Energy targets more shale joint ventures

Chesapeake Energy is seeking to forge more joint-venture deals for its shale properties in the Mississippi Lime formation in Oklahoma and Kansas and the Williston Basin in North and South Dakota, said CEO Aubrey McClendon. This follows Chesapeake's signing of a $2.14 billion partnership with an oil major for shares in Ohio's Utica Shale formation.
