Hoteliers should reward referrals through tangible yet low-cost incentives that they would appreciate, writes Caroline Cooper, founder of Zeal Coaching. The nature of the incentives should match the people who made the referrals, whether they are guests, suppliers or the hotel's own staff, to make sure that the reward is well-received and encourages more referrals, Cooper writes.
