Even healthy people face lifetime cardiovascular risk

Even men and women with optimal heart health had a more than 30% chance of developing a heart condition in their lifetime, according to a study in the Journal of the American Medical Association. The lifetime risk estimates for cardiovascular disease were significantly lower among women than with men, researchers said.
