How mobile devices help schools worldwide connect

Schools worldwide are using technology to connect with other schools. At one school in West Sussex, England, educators said they chose to make such connections using mobile technology because of anticipated problems with trying to connect online with students in developing countries, such as Uganda and Afghanistan. Instead, students send text and picture messages on mobile devices and have used a videoconferencing program to communicate.
