Agents commend Carnival's move to centralize leadership

Carnival's recent decision to bring its Holland America Line and Princess Cruises brands under the Holland America Group umbrella drew praises from a number of travel agents. Industry consultant Rob McLeod said the change was a good strategy shift for the "maturing industry" in North America. Eric Goldring, owner of Goldring Travel, praised the consistency that the move would bring while expressing concern over preserving the identity of the two brands.
