Frontier shows wireline, broadband progress in Q3

Frontier Communications signed up nearly 27,000 broadband subscribers in the third quarter, marking the third straight period in which the telecom added more customers in a three-month period than it did in full-year 2012, the carrier said Tuesday. Moreover, CEO Margaret Wilderotter pointed to success on the revenue side in a flat quarter compared with last year. "We've turned the corner on successfully mitigating revenue declines," she said, referring to improving churn figures.
