Operators look to NFV to cut costs, speed service delivery

Network functions virtualization is drawing more interest among telecoms as operators move to streamline service delivery and cut costs by centralizing network functions. A recent poll of service providers found relatively high satisfaction levels with NFV thus far, although concerns remain about congestion, latency and errors on virtualized functions.
