Survey: U.K. CIOs favor SaaS among cloud services

Ninety percent of chief information officers in the U.K. say they employ cloud services, with 70% using software-as-a-service, according to a survey by Alsbridge. Platform-as-a-service, infrastructure-as-a-service and cloud-based data storage were far behind SaaS, the survey found. "Cloud may be a good fit for a small to midsized business model, but our study reveals that IaaS cloud adoption at a large corporate level is in fact still relatively low," said Alsbridge's John Sheridan.
