Shoppers plan to use mobile devices even more this season

Using mobile devices for product information and comparison was a new phenomenon last holiday-shopping season and is set to take off, with nearly half of mobile-device owners saying they plan to make greater use of their gadgets for shopping this year, according to consultancy Shopper Sciences. Much of that use will be in-store, for price comparison, coupons and inventory checking.
