Consumers want more seafood on children's menus

Kids and parents alike want to see more healthy, fresh seafood options on children's menus such as broiled fish, sushi and coconut shrimp, according to the 2012 Kids and Parents Discovery Survey. “Kids a lot of times are very aspirational -- they want to eat like their parents,” said restaurateur Aaron Noveshen, who noted that his restaurants sell California rolls to 2-year-olds. “That’s kids' food now. It does quite well.”
