Location-based ads attract 4 times more money than others

Advertisers are willing to pay almost four times more for location-based mobile ads than for ads that don't target based on location, according to an analysis by Nexage. The company also noted a 170% increase in demand for location-based ads in the past three months. Mobile publishers need to allow greater access to location data so developers can leverage it, Nexage CEO Ernie Cormier notes.
