Amazon endorses federal bill on Internet sales tax

A bill for online sales tax introduced by three senators gained support from Amazon. The retailer had objected to similar measures in states including Illinois and California by dropping affiliates in those states. EBay is against the Marketplace Fairness Act, which would exempt retailers with less than $500,000 in annual sales.
