Hospital cites barriers to iPad adoption in health care

Clinicians at Seattle Children's Hospital tried using iPads to run desktop applications and found the technology to be impractical for their daily clinical tasks. Electronic medical record apps are difficult to manage on the iPad, and the device's iCloud storage service raises security concerns, chief technology officer Wes Wright said.
