Report: Netflix apparently is set for British debut

Netflix reportedly is preparing for its move into the British and Irish markets by negotiating content deals with U.K.-based networks including BSkyB, Channel 4 and ITV. Sources say the streaming-video provider is close to a deal with ITV that would give it rights to the network's show archive -- excluding current-run shows such as "Downton Abbey" -- but the broadcaster is said to be playing down those reports.
