ACA to increase Neb. nursing shortage, expert says

The Affordable Care Act will make Nebraska's nurse shortage worse as more residents gain access to preventive care, according to Dean Juliann Sebastian of the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Nursing. The university has started construction projects to increase its ability to train more nurses and other health care workers, but the state is projected to have 3,800 fewer registered nurses than it will need by 2020.
