MGM Mirage proposes megaresort/urban development on Vegas Strip

Las Vegas casino giant MGM Mirage has plans to take the gambling city in a new direction with an ambitious plan for a sprawling new urban development in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip. The multibillion dollar project, called "Project CityCenter," would include a new 4,000-room megaresort, three 400-room boutique hotels, about 550,000 square feet of retail shops, dining and entertainment venues and a 1,650-unit condo complex.
