Michigan asks court to let Blue Cross take over as PBM

Michigan's Department of Management and Budget has asked an appeals court to dismiss a preliminary injunction that is keeping the state from having Blue Cross Blue Shield take over as its pharmacy benefits manager. Ingham County Judge Rosemarie Aquilina allowed for a temporary restraining order so she could have time to determine if the management and budget office followed its rules in awarding the three-year, $879 million contract to Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan.
